TRIADA a series of tripod dishes designed for a Mexican milpa food's tasting menu.
This collection was selected for the 8th Biennial of Ceramics for the Franz Mayer's Museum.
Inspired by the traditional Metate and Molcajete, two stone utensils that allowed the refinement of Mesoamerican gastronomy and through the analysis of the "sacred triad of cornfield": Corn, Pumpkin and Beans. This collection takes the tripod configuration of these objects while proposing a contemporary aesthetic based on the use of new technologies, such as 3D printing.
